Transit Time
Perivascular Probes Transonic
Systems probes for microcirculation with Transonic flowmeters produce
repeatable high resolution volumetric blood flow measurements on vessels as
small as 250 micron diameter, but also in vessels as large as 1000 microns..
Choosing the appropriate series, size and style probe for your application
will enhance the absolute accuracy of the flow measurement. Big size
probes available for vessels up to 20 mm. |
|
|
|
Perivascular Probe selection Code = MA XX Y Where
instead of “XX” you have to insert
the desired probe size in steps starting from 0,25 mm diameter up to 20
mm. Instead of “Y” you have to insert the selectedcable exit type where B = Back or S = side (lateral) |
|
|
Probes can then present
different types of reflectors and closing systems around the vessels. Easier
to let us know the purpose of your experiment (vessel to be measured, animal
used, weight of the animal, etc. and we will provide a list of suitable probes
among them you can select the most appropriate ones. |

TRANSONIC BLF Laser Doppler Unit Transonic Systems' BLF 21-Series
perfusion monitors measure microcirculation in 1 cubic mm of tissue for
real-time assessment of perfusion in patients. Flowmeters monitor the effects
of excercise, drug treatments, environmental or physical manipulations on
target microvascular beds. Dual channel units can monitor an experimental
tissue along with a control or a second area of affected tissue. Two basic
styles of Laser Doppler Probes are available: those for acute use and the
chronic application probe. Continuous measurements can be taken in skin with
surface probes: intraopertively in organs with surface, straight or needle
probes: and internally with endoscopic probes. The mono-fiber probe can be
used to measure perfusion with fibers inplanted in tissue of lab animals. |

BIOPAC Laser Doppler
Amplifier and Probes (MP100 Biopac Unit Required) BIOPAC LDF100C is a laser Doppler tissue
perfusion monitor for measuring micro-vascular blood flow in tissue.
The LDF100C module delivers a low power beam of laser light down an optical
fiber to the tissue being studied; typically, the volume of tissue sampled by
the light is in the order of 1mm3. The LDF100C module analyzes the Doppler
shift created by moving red blood cells and outputs a channel indicating
blood flow expressed in Blood Perfusion Units (BPU). On a second channel the
LDF100C simultaneously outputs the tissue remittance (Backscatter) from 0 to
100%. Up to four LDF100C modules can be used with a single MP System. The
TSD140 series surface probes are designed for skin and exposed tissue
blood flow monitoring. All surface probes are made from black Delrin®. The
signal delivery fiber intersects the probe body at a right angle, making the
probes easy to secure to the skin or tissue surface. The
TSD140 series needle probes are designed for invasive and endoscopic
blood flow monitoring of tissue. The signal delivery fiber terminates
straight into the top of the needle, making the probes easy to insert into
tissue. |

Optic Fiber probes available for both
Transonic and Biopac Laser Doppler Flow-Meter Units All the Flow-Meters Units can be
connected to PC via the BIOPAC Software (see correspond. section) |

preparations. The system may be placed or spontaneously beating. The system can
be instrumented to measure left ventricular pressure, apical force using the built-in
pulley system and coronary resistance, as well as surface fluorescence,
luminescence and absorption. This type of system is often used for dose response studies in
pharmacology. Its compact design has been used to introduce the heart into
NMR chambers or other restricted areas. The heart chamber, components, and
perfusate lines are water-jacketed for temperature control. The system is color coded for easy assembly and features charts with
basic protocols and instructions. Recommended when measurements of actual cardiac work or cardiac
efficiency are necessary, such as in metabolic or transgenic studies. Accessories: ED 13 – Heating

a window in the base of the Myograph with continuous display of microscope
image, vessel dimensions, flow, force and temperature on monitor. Transducers
continuously monitoring
inflow and outflow pressures and longitudinal
tension to allow standardization of arterial length using micrometer. Confocal Pressure Myograph System - 120CP The
confocal pressure myograph is a system specifically for use with laser
scanning confocal microscopes (LSCM) and used to study intracellular ion activity
and isobaric constriction of isolated sections of small resistance arteries
(diameter >50µm). |

DMT Myograph Systems DMT A/S develops and produces equipments for customers
with the field of cardiovascular research in both the public and private
sector. The equipment is used primarily for pharmacological and physiological
studies of arteries and veins. Danish Myo Technology A/S (former J.P.
Trading) is a medical- and biotechnology company with more than twenty years
of experience in the development and manufacture of myograph equipment
designed for the in vitro assessment of vascular structure and function.
Historically, myography development closely mirrors the scientific
discoveries of the 1980s and 1990s when the basic mechanisms underlying the
development of vascular changes in hypertension, diabetes and atherosclerosis
were elucidated. Basing our designs and techniques on the methodologies of
Professor M. J. Mulvany (Inst. of Pharmacology, University of Aarhus,
Denmark), we have integrated the needs of the user with first class
mechanical, electronical and software engineering to become one of the worlds
leading designers and manufactures of wire, pressure and perfusion myographs.

Pressure Myograph for Rapid Freezing - 115FP This pressure myograph chamber is designed
for biochemical or morphological studies where rapid freezing of the vessel
is frequently required. This chamber is ideal for rapid freezing of a
cannulated and pressurized vessel for biochemical studies, or for quick
transfer from a physiological solution into a fixative for morphological
studies. The experimental chamber is made of stainless steel. A window at the
base of the chamber allows the vessel dimensions to be digitized for analysis
of diameter etc. The adjoining chamber, which is removable, is used for
freezing or adding other fixing solutions. By raising the segment holder and
thus the vessel and its tubing, the chamber stage can be moved to the side,
for rapid or instant freezing or removing of the vessel segment for later
analysis. This process can be done in less than a second. This chamber can be
obtained as a complete setup - similiar the 110P, or as an add-on to the 110P |
